Ogier in Guernsey advises Barclays on £70 million debt facility

Ogier's Banking and Finance team in Guernsey acted as Guernsey counsel to Barclays Bank Plc on its £70 million debt facility for London Stock Exchange Main Market listed Chrysalis Investments Limited.

In addition to the committed £70 million, the facility also includes an uncommitted accordion of £15 million.

The facility will allow Chrysalis Investments Limited to cover working capital and potential follow-on investments, with the long-term goal to expedite returns to shareholders.

The Ogier team involved in the fund finance transaction was led by partner Paul Chanter, with support from managing associate Matthew Macfarlane, senior associate Jonathan Branch and trainee solicitor Samuel Clarke.
