Thomas Sims

Thomas advises on a wide range of banking and finance matters including advising both lenders and borrowers in relation to leveraged finance, fund finance and financial institution lending.

Background and experience

Thomas has a strong background in large cap finance matters with experience in advising both private equity sponsors and financial institutions on subscription line financings as well as GP facilities. He also has extensive experience acting for both sponsors and investors on acquisition and leveraged financings. In addition he has acted for major banks in corporate coverage and financial institution lending.

Prior to joining Ogier, Thomas was a member of the banking and finance teams at two major London and New York firms and has also worked as an in-house legal counsel at BNP Paribas.
