Stephen is a member of the Private Wealth team in Jersey and advises professional trustees, intermediaries, family offices and private clients on the establishment, operation and restructuring of trusts.

Background and experience
Stephen advises on non-contentious trust matters and has a particular focus on the drafting of trust instruments and supplemental trust deeds. He has spent time on secondment at an international bank where he acted as in-house legal counsel for 9 months.
Stephen has a STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning and was part of the Private Client team at Howard Kennedy, where he specialised in trusts, the administration of complex estates, wills and succession planning for high-net worth individuals, prior to joining Ogier in 2019.
Stephen graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature and Language and obtained his LLB from the College of Law (York and London) in 2009.
He is a member of the Law Society and a full member of STEP.
