Samora Lewis is an associate in Ogier's Dispute Resolution team, based in the BVI, specialising in shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice claims and insolvency disputes. Samora is also a qualified mediator.
Background and experience
Having obtained her degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, Samora went on to qualify as a barrister in England in 2021. She was subsequently admitted to the BVI Bar upon her return to the jurisdiction in 2022.
As part of her barrister training, Samora focused on shareholder disputes. Since returning to the BVI, Samora has predominantly worked on unfair prejudice claims as well as insolvency disputes.
In 2020, Samora qualified as a mediator after training with ADR ODR International.
