Ridhiima is a managing associate in Ogier's Investment Funds and Corporate teams in Dubai with a practice covering Cayman Islands law.
She advises on the establishment, launch and maintenance of investment funds including registered mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds. She also provides advice on corporate matters and has in-depth experience with the migration of vehicles into and out of the Cayman Islands, terminations and licensing.
In addition, Ridhiima is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team. She specialises in structuring advice, fund formation, advising on ongoing fund operation including regulatory compliance with experience advising on term extensions, wind-down and termination.
She is also part of Ogier's Technology and Web3 sector group with experience in the set-up, launch and termination of digital asset funds.

Background and experience
Ridhiima regularly works with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority with regards to funds registration / de-registration and has experience advising on securities registration and licensing. She also advises on general corporate and commercial matters.
In 2017, Ridhiima completed a six-month secondment to Ogier's Jersey office working within the Funds and Finance team, where she assisted with funds regulatory matters with the JFSC and also on Jersey Property Unit Trusts.
Ridhiima joined Ogier as an articled clerk and was subsequently admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar in 2014. She passed the Legal Practice Course with Commendation from the College of Law - London Moorgate in 2012 and attained her LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham, England in 2011. In 2010 she completed a six month internship with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority's Legal Division.
Prior to this, she was selected to represent the Cayman Islands at the United World College of the Adriatic in Italy from 2005-2007 where she attained her International Baccalaureate Diploma.
In 2022, Ridhiima was appointed a member of the board of directors of the Cayman Islands Special Economic Zones Authority.
She is a member of 100 Women in Finance, the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association and a former Council Member of the Caymanian Bar Association. Ridhiima was a former Director and Vice-Chairperson of the United World College - Cayman Islands Board.
