Rebekah Agyeman

Rebekah Agyeman is a managing associate in Ogier's Corporate team. She advises on a wide range of local and international corporate finance and capital market transactions, including IPOs, restructurings and debt listings. Rebekah is also part of the Ogier Jersey Regulatory Group, which provides contentious and non-contentious advice on regulatory matters and advises on tax reporting requirements, financial services regulations, anti-money laundering obligations and competition law for the jurisdiction.

Background and experience

Rebekah is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team.  She specialises in Finance and Downstream Corporate Advisory workstreams including providing advice in relation to acquisitions and disposals made by private equity funds and the listing of private equity investments.

Rebekah is also a member of the Ogier Jersey Regulatory Group (led by partners Matthew Shaxson and Nick Williams) which provides contentious and non-contentious advice on all Jersey regulatory matters.

Rebekah's experience includes several secondments to blue chip institutions both in the UK and Jersey.

Before joining Ogier in January 2015, Rebekah trained and qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2012 at Linklaters before moving to Vodafone Ghana to work in their regulatory department.
