Spear's 500
Jordan regularly advises corporate and individual clients, fiduciaries and leading onshore lawyers on a wide range of contentious issues. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, insolvency, trust, fund disputes and financial service claims which often contain elements of fraud and breach of duty.
Jordan is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Restructuring and Insolvency team and has experience advising stakeholders both outside of and within formal insolvency procedures, usually with a cross-border element.
He is also part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Trust Advisory Group which advises leading fiduciaries, trust office holders and high net worth individuals on contentious and non-contentious private client issues. In 2022 Jordan was named "Lawyer of the Year" at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards (Associate - IFC) following an adjudication process conducted by leading individuals in the private wealth industry. Jordan was also recommended as a key lawyer in Ogier's trusts and private client team by the Legal 500 Caribbean Guide, 2023.
Jordan joined Ogier in the Cayman Islands following almost five years in Jersey, where he worked for a leading offshore law firm. During that time he worked on complex, high value litigation before first instance and appellate courts, and assisted onshore lawyers with complex cross-border litigation. He trained in London, gaining Civil Higher Rights of Audience in 2016.
