Jessica-Leigh specialises in complex, high value, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Ogier in 2021, Jessica-Leigh trained and qualified at an international city firm in London, UK. Her broad practice includes experience of defending allegations of conspiracy made against a multi-national company pursuant to a large corporate acquisition in Asia, asset-tracing and recovery of several million pounds pursuant to a multi-jurisdictional push payment fraud, acting for a large corporate in relation to an internal investigation relating to alleged financial misstatement, defending claims of dishonest assistance and conspiracy involving cross-border commodity transactions, defending claims for repayment of convertible loan agreements, a professional negligence claim made against an investment services firm and acting for a plaintiff in claims based on fraudulent misrepresentation.
Jessica-Leigh holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Sociology and French from York University, Canada and obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Jessica-Leigh is a member of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (Cayman) Limited (RISA), International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
