Jamie Biddle

Jamie is a director in the Ogier Regulatory Consulting team based in the Jersey office. He has extensive experience in complex regulatory and enforcement matters. 

Background and experience

Jamie's expertise spans multiple jurisdictions, advising a broad spectrum of financial services sectors. He is highly experienced in guiding clients through the JFSC’s settlement process and civil penalty matters. His contributions include leadership roles with Jersey’s government and regulatory bodies in Jersey and Guernsey, including chairing the National Vulnerability Team for Jersey’s first NRA and serving in key regulatory appointments.

Previously, as Deputy Director of Enforcement at the Jersey Financial Services Commission, Jamie led multidisciplinary teams tackling the Commission's most challenging cases and served as Deputy MLRO for eight years. His background also includes a tenure at one of the island’s leading law firms, providing counsel on issues such as fraud, sanctions, bribery, corruption, and money laundering.
