James is a consultant in Ogier's Dispute Resolution team in the Cayman Islands. His practice involves investment funds established under Exempted Limited Partnerships, trusts, insolvency, company law, fraud, cases with a foreign law element (including UAE law and Hong Kong law), interlocutory applications for Mareva injunctions and the appointment of receivers in support of foreign proceedings, applications for service out of the jurisdiction, and construction.
Before joining Ogier, James practised at the English Bar for more than 30 years, where he specialised in the field of occupational pension schemes and, more recently, international commercial arbitration.
James has a BA in jurisprudence from the University of Oxford.
