Holly Johnston

Holly joined Ogier in 2021 as an articled clerk in the Cayman Islands and has since qualified and now sits in the Dispute Resolution team as an associate

Background and experience

Before joining Ogier in 2021, Holly worked as a paralegal at a local law firm where she assisted with the provision of corporate services and civil matters in the financial services division relating to security for costs orders and other general commercial litigation issues.

Holly completed her Articles of Clerkship with Ogier and was admitted in the Cayman Islands in 2023 and has joined the firms multi-disciplinary Dispute Resolution team.

Holly has worked on matters pertaining to Cayman-domiciled companies, directors, liquidators, creditors and shareholders in relation to non-contentious insolvency, restructuring and corporate recovery matters, a range of local semi- contentious employment disputes and arbitrations and general commercial litigation.

A graduate of Canterbury Christchurch University of Canterbury, Kent in Digital Media and Business she returned to the Cayman Islands to undertake her legal education at the University of Law of London online during COVID before completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Oxford Brooks University with a Distinction.
