Hoan Nguyen

Hoan’s comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and lifecycle of funds enables him to assist clients in planning and operations, from initial setup of funds to launch. 

Hoan leverages his local expertise and network alongside Ogier Global’s team of experienced professionals to enhance client outcomes – particularly for those considering Singapore as their hub for investment and wealth management. 

Hoan possess both technical expertise and business acumen, having worked extensively in sales, stakeholder management, audit and regulatory compliance. He started his career in public practice at a Big 4 firm in Singapore, where he spent more than 15 years in their asset and wealth management practice. During his tenure, he led teams servicing a diverse portfolio of asset managers, covering multiple service lines including financial statements and internal audits, regulatory compliance and consulting. He also has significant expertise in internal controls, investment valuation audits, and reporting standards across international financial reporting standards (IFRS), Singapore generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Hong Kong GAAP, and US GAAP. 

Hoan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, specialising in Accountancy. Hoan is committed to ongoing development and is currently pursuing the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) certification.
