Hilary Surcouf

Hilary is the Company Secretarial Manager on the fund administration team for Ogier's corporate and fiduciary services business, Ogier Global. Among other things, her focus is on delivering a high-quality company secretarial service to a number of venture capital fund of funds for one of the longest-established investment management and advisory firms in the VP industry. Hilary will bring her broad experience in the finance industry to the role, particularly in corporate governance and fund administration.

Background and experience

Hilary's career in the finance industry in Jersey and Australia spans 40 years and she her experience covers man of its sectors including banking, asset management and private wealth. A substantial number of those years have been dedicated to the funds sector and the administration of open and closed ended funds. Prior to joining Ogier, Hilary spent more than 15 years specialising in the administration of complex private equity funds, typically structured as limited partnerships, and the complexities of the compliance framework around those partnerships and the regulated general partners which manage them. She has a strong corporate governance and compliance ethos has been successful in building long-standing relationships with directors of fund/GP boards which she administers, and with her clients.
