Hannah is a managing associate in Ogier's London office, advising on the laws of the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands on a variety of corporate finance and banking matters.
Hannah advises on a broad range of corporate matters including M&A, listings and IPOs, restructuring, regulatory issues, private equity structures and joint ventures.
Her extensive finance practice includes a particular expertise in aviation, shipping and project finance, and she frequently advises on aircraft and vessel registration in Cayman and BVI. Hannah also advises on a range of fund finance matters, acting both borrower and lender side.
Hannah's corporate advisory practice includes IPOs and listings, corporate restructuring and reorganisation, regulatory issues, private equity structures and joint ventures. She has a particular interest in international mergers and acquisitions work and also advises corporates and investors in the private equity and venture capital space.
Her broad banking and finance practice has a focus on asset finance. She also has considerable experience in project finance, export credit, real estate finance, structured and fund finance, along with general corporate lending.
Hannah holds the CISI Islamic Finance qualification and is a member of the International Aviation Women's Association (IAWA), 100 Women in Finance and an attendee of the Advancing Women in Aviation Roundtable.
Before joining Ogier, Hannah worked in the corporate finance team of another leading offshore law firm and spent four years based in the Cayman Islands. She also has in-house experience, having completed a client secondment to an NYSE-listed offshore drilling company. She trained and qualified into the asset finance team of Dentons in London, where she completed a six-month secondment to the firm's Abu Dhabi office.
Hannah graduated with an MA in Oriental Studies (Arabic and Russian) from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and an LLB from the University of Law in London. Hannah has a working proficiency of Arabic and maintains a strong connection to the Middle East.
