Genesis Perez

Genesis is Head of Financial Reporting and Systems for Ogier Global's fund administration team. He is primarily responsible for implementing and developing the investor services product line.

Background and experience

Genesis began his career in 2005 at one of the big four audit firms in the Philippines. He moved to the Channel Islands in 2008 and joined an audit firm based in Guernsey, where he was involved in different auditing structures in financial services, including real estate, funds and private equity.

Before joining Ogier, Genesis worked widely with several leading fund services providers in Jersey. He was a client director at a European-based funds services provider and oversaw the accounting migration of new clients, key client deliverables and the formation of critical accounting processes for outsourcing. He also spent time with another fund services provider in Jersey as a head of fund accounting, focusing on client set up for accounting and delivery for real estate and private equity.

Genesis is qualified as a certified public accountant and earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from San Sebastian College in Manila, Philippines.
