Charlotte's practice focuses on advising Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands investment funds on a range of issues, including the structuring, establishment and ongoing legal and regulatory compliance. Charlotte is also part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team.

Charlotte's practice focuses on advising on a range of issues for investment funds, including the structuring, establishment and ongoing legal and regulatory compliance of Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands hedge and private equity funds covering a wide range of investment strategies, including private equity, venture capital, pre-IPO, real estate, factoring, debt and credit as well as their regulatory compliance.

Charlotte is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team. She specialises in (a) fund formation and capital raising, including (i) structuring advice and fund formation; (ii) advising on ongoing fund operation (including regulatory compliance); (iii) LP advisory services, and (b) downstream corporate advisory work. Charlotte regularly advises clients on a number of private equity fund issues, including investment strategy issues, investor issues, structuring issues and regulatory compliance. 

Charlotte joined Ogier Hong Kong in 2015 from the Wellington office of DLA Piper in New Zealand where she specialised in investment funds and superannuation work, particularly in respect of unit trusts, as a solicitor in DLA Piper’s Financial Services and Funds Management team (one of the largest legal teams focused on investment funds in New Zealand).

Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Money & Finance and Economics) from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
