Ashleigh is a member of Ogier's growing Intellectual Property practice. As a fully qualified paralegal, Ashleigh is an instrumental member of the team, managing the portfolios of a diverse range of clients with a focus on the Cayman Islands, wider Caribbean, Central and Latin America and UK re-registration countries.
Ashleigh has specialised in Intellectual Property for more than 5 years and is experienced in all stages of the IP prosecution process. She is in charge of Ogier's IP docketing system and manages a large number of matters across the firm.
Ashleigh is a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt based on her development of an improved process for the efficient management of IP matters.
Ashleigh has a diverse background, with prior experience in the finance and technology sectors. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London. She enjoys applying her commercial acumen to IP matters to add value to the services provided to Ogier's clients.
Ashleigh obtained her Certified Paralegal Certificate from The Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies through Rice University in Houston Texas, USA in 2019.
Ashleigh is a keen member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and has particularly enjoyed delivering INTA's Unreal Campaign, which focuses on trade marks and anti-counterfeiting, to young people in the Cayman Islands. She also serves on INTA's Trademark Administrators Committee.
