Private equity specialist joins Ogier partnership in Luxembourg

Private equity specialist Laurent Thailly has been promoted to partner in Ogier's Luxembourg office.

Laurent was one of the first lawyers to join the office when it opened in 2012, and his promotion means that Ogier's team has grown to the point where there are now six Luxembourg-qualified partners.

Luxembourg practice partner Francois Pfister said that recent recruitments and promotions in the Luxembourg office showed its importance to the firm's overall strategy.

Laurent specialises in Private Equity and international investment structures and has extensive experience in advising on the establishment and financing of domestic and cross-border corporate vehicles, corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and divestures, joint ventures, liquidations and general Luxembourg corporate and commercial advice.
