Ogier's Jersey property team remains in a league of its own for seventh year

Ogier's Jersey property team has been ranked by independent market commentator Chambers as being in a league of its own for a record seventh year, with the team remaining the only Jersey property practice to be ranked top tier across all leading directories.

Head of Local Legal Services Jonathan Hughes said: "That Chambers still considers Ogier to be the only team of offshore property, planning and construction lawyers and conveyancers to merit a top-tier rating after seven years really is an achievement to be proud of. Jonathan Hughes retains his band one ranking, and is described as "a seriously good lawyer". Katharine Marshall is ranked, with a client saying her "ability to deal with complex transactions is excellent". Jonathan Anderson and Sarah Parish are associates to watch. Senior statesperson Chris Renouf has "an amazing reputation in the market", while senior associate Laura Shirreffs is described in client feedback in Legal 500 2023 as "very impressive."
