Ogier's BVI Dispute Resolution team has been named Litigation Practice of the Year, voted for by industry peers, in BVI Finance's 2020 Financial Services Awards.

This is the latest industry recognition for the market-leading team, which was described by clients as "the stand-out offshore firm for complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration" in the Legal 500 Caribbean 2021.

The team has successfully acted on many of the largest, ground-breaking cases in the BVI over the past year, including the $1.5bn Constellation Group restructuring and successfully representing US investors in setting aside a private placement of shares that entrenched the existing board in IsZo Capital LP v Nam Tai Property Inc & Ors.
