Corporate finance expert Hannah Diss has joined Ogier as a managing associate, advising on the laws of the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands on a variety of corporate finance and banking matters.

Based in Ogier's London office, Hannah has extensive experience in a broad range of corporate matters including M&A, listings and initial public offerings, restructuring, regulatory issues, private equity structures and joint ventures. Her finance practice includes a particular expertise in aviation, shipping and project finance, and she frequently advises on aircraft and vessel registration in Cayman and BVI.

"Hannah is an experienced BVI and Cayman lawyer with a wealth of expertise across a range of corporate finance matters. The addition of Hannah to our growing London team further strengthens our ability to provide our City-based clients with easy access to offshore legal expertise," said Ogier's London practice partner Jeremy Snead.

Before joining Ogier, Hannah worked in the corporate finance team of another leading offshore law firm and spent four years based in the Cayman Islands. She also has in-house experience, having completed a client secondment to an NYSE-listed offshore drilling company. She trained and qualified into the asset finance team of Dentons in London, where she completed a six-month secondment to the firm's Abu Dhabi office.

Hannah holds the CISI Islamic Finance qualification and is a member of the International Aviation Women's Association (IAWA), 100 Women in Finance and an attendee of the Advancing Women in Aviation Roundtable.
