Ogier’s Cayman Islands teams boosted with 18 promotions

Ogier has confirmed 18 promotions across its legal, corporate and fiduciary, and business services teams in the Cayman Islands in a significant recognition of the firm’s in-house talent.

In Cayman’s Banking and Finance team, Thomas Sims has been promoted to senior associate. In this role, he will continue to advise on a wide range of matters, including advising both lenders and borrowers in relation to leveraged finance, fund finance and financial institution lending. 

Ogier’s Dispute Resolution team meanwhile continues to grow in strength with Nour Khaleq becoming a managing associate and Jessica-Leigh Knowles, Chris Vincent and Max Galt becoming senior associates. 

Within Ogier’s leading Cayman Investment Funds team, Laura Sephton, Rebecca Quillish and Kayla Lewis have been promoted to senior associates. Brad Johnston and Jade Parker also become new associates in the Fund's team having completed their articles with the firm. 

In Cayman’s Ogier Global team: James Macfee becomes a director, Kelly Darling becomes senior manager, board support, while Xiomara Moore progresses to senior billing administrator and Jordan McLaughlin progresses to administrator within the firm's corporate and fiduciary division. 

In business services, Larissa Dixon has been promoted to senior compliance administrator, Kelley Verwey to senior compensation and benefit advisor, Jamaal Miller to operations supervisor and Michael Whittaker to senior CDD administrator.
