Ogier's transactional teams in Luxembourg have received stand-out praise in the latest Legal 500 EMEA rankings, with clients describing Ogier as "trusted business partners and the go-to firm."

According to the guide, Ogier has a "strong banking team" with "extensive experience in fund finance". The team is led by Jad Nader and noted key lawyers include counsels Nicolas Bonora and Caleb Holder, as well as senior associates Chloé Dominici and Fabiana Popescu. Clients praise Jad and Caleb for being "very responsive and always go the extra mile when needed."

Drawing upon an "exceptionally reliable grounding in black letter law and regulation together with practicality and commercial awareness", Ogier's Investment Funds team is recognised for its exceptionally strong combination of regulatory expertise, responsiveness and clear communication.

Investment Funds partner Anne-Gaëlle Delabye is described as "outstanding" and "result driven", while dual Luxembourg and German qualified managing associate Milan Hauber, who heads Ogier's German Desk, is praised for his "well-structured, timely, responsive and practical advice." The guide also highlight counsel Philippe Burgener as a key lawyer in the team.

For commercial, corporate and M&A work, Ogier's team provides "practical, concise and easily digestible advice" across a range of transactional and general corporate and commercial work. According to the guide, the team is best-known for its joined-up advice to private equity and real estate funds on the structuring and execution of complex international transactions.

Head of the Corporate legal team in Luxembourg Bertrand Geradin "provides excellent advice which is delivered in a timely manner", while partner Laurent Thailly is recommended by the guide. Other key lawyers listed include managing associate and German Desk co-head Sarah Verlende and counsel Hélène Arvis.

Luxembourg Legal Services practice partner Bertrand Geradin said: "It's very satisfying to see the commitment and expertise of our lawyers recognised by clients. As our growing team goes from strength-to-strength, we continue to put our clients at the heart of what we do. Congratulations to everyone for their hard work and thank you to our clients for such fantastic feedback."
