Ogier recognised for Latin American work in funds sector

Ogier's position as a leading investment funds adviser for Brazilian clients has been recognised by Latin Lawyer's guide to the top business law firms working in Latin America.

Head of Global Investment Funds Giorgio Subiotto has also been recognised as a "respected member the legal community, known for the high standard of his work and good connections locally" in Latin Lawyer 250, the independent guide to firms operating in the region – the guide also referred to Giorgio's "deep roots" in the Brazilian legal sector.

The guide highlights the firm's record in fund formation and management, and in private wealth work, and recognises the work of Giorgio's fellow partners Simon Schilder and Bradley Kruger.

Besides leading Ogier's investment funds teams across BVI, Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey and Luxembourg, Giorgio also heads the firm's Latin American practice. Before joining Ogier he practiced in Sao Paulo, New York, London and Paris.
