Ogier's success in adopting new ways of working to benefit clients has been recognised by Legal Week, which has named the firm as a finalist in the prestigious International Law Firm Innovation category of the Legal Week Innovation Awards.
Ogier is nominated among major law firms including Hogan Lovells, Dentons and Simmons & Simmons in the category.
Judged by independent experts, the award "seeks to uncover innovation in the delivery of legal services across a law firm's network of offices across the globe".
Ogier's Global Managing Partner Edward Mackereth said that the shortlisting reflected a culture of lawyers and business services teams collaborating to find new ways of working, embracing technology and developing closer relationships with clients.
He said: "We have been pursuing an innovation agenda for the past two years and have invested in building specialist innovation teams, finding new ways to harness tech to be more effective, and above all developing a culture of doing things differently.
"Our clients are seeing the benefits of that work in terms of quality, efficiency, consistency and communication, and it is transforming our working culture right across our offices in Asia, the Caribbean and Europe."
The awards take place in London on 25 May.
