Ogier joins Pro Bono Luxembourg as founding member

Ogier in Luxembourg is among the founding members of a new association dedicated to providing pro bono legal advice to third sector organisations in Luxembourg.

Hélène Arvis, counsel in Ogier's Dispute Resolution team who has been appointed to the Pro Bono Luxembourg board, is keen to encourage more law firms in Luxembourg to join.

Launched on 3 February 2025, the Pro Bono Luxembourg Association will organise local lawyers to provide free legal advice to NGOs, charities and other organisations working for social advancement, equality, the defence of human rights and children's rights, as well as other causes.

Hélène explained: "I am incredibly proud to be part of this new association and I thank Ogier and all the founding members for supporting this fantastic initiative. Having a pool of committed lawyers who are dedicated to providing their expertise, pro bono, for the benefit of our society will have a significant, positive impact on the Luxembourg community. Collaboration is the key and, to succeed, we are seeking the involvement of as many Luxembourg law firms as possible to be able to resource requests for assistance."
