Ogier is ranked top law firm for Chinese IPOs in the US

Ogier has been named the top law firm in 2024 for assisting China-based companies with initial public offerings on US markets.

According to Wind, a leading financial data provider in the PRC, Ogier’s teams in Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands advised on 40 US initial public offerings (IPOs) for China-based companies in 2024, more than any other law firm.

Transactions worked on by the Ogier team throughout 2024 included Ogier in Hong Kong advising China-based electric car brand Zeekr on its US$441 million NYSE IPO, the biggest Chinese stock offering in the US since 2021, and Ogier in the Cayman Islands providing Cayman counsel to Zhibao Technology InC., a China-based leading and high growth insurtech company, on its Nasdaq IPO.
