Investment funds expert Hervé Leclercq has joined Ogier as a partner in its Luxembourg funds team.

Hervé specialises in unregulated alternative funds (with a focus on private equity, infrastructure and real estate) but is also advising UCITS and regulated AIFs. He advises asset managers, initiators, institutional and private investors in relation to legal and regulatory aspects of structuring, operating, and marketing investment funds. Hervé also assists clients in the establishment of alternative investment fund managers and professionals of the financial sector.

With more than 20 years' experience advising on Luxembourg investment funds, Hervé has an extensive local and cross border legal expertise, in particular relating to Asia. As he has lived and worked in Japan and Hong Kong, Hervé will use his experience in the Asian market to assist clients in the region.

Anne-Gaëlle Delabye said: "We are very pleased to welcome Hervé to our growing investment funds team in Luxembourg. Hervé is known for his extensive experience in funds structuring, as well as for his pragmatism and commerciality. His insights into the Asian market, his experience advising clients on the establishment of professionals of the financial sector as well as his extensive knowledge on regulatory frameworks, including AIFMD, MIFID II and UCITS, will be valuable for our clients."

Also joining Ogier's investment funds teams are senior associate Amaury François and associate Laurianne Vessot, who focus on legal and regulatory aspects of the set-up, structuring, and management of both regulated and unregulated funds.
