Ogier in Cayman is proud to continue its support of local charity Meals on Wheels, delivering 250 hours of volunteer support each year.

More than 30 individuals in Ogier's Cayman office volunteer for Meals on Wheels, assisting with the charity's food delivery service three times a week and supporting its Christmas Groceries project.

Meals on Wheels provides on average 350 free, hot, nutritious meals a day across all five districts in Grand Cayman to senior, homebound and disabled citizens, Monday to Friday, every week. Relying on around 130 volunteers, the service helps seniors maintain their independence by staying in their own home and provides social interaction to address the prominent issue of isolation.

Jennifer West, Meals on Wheels' general manager, said, "The demand for Meals on Wheels services has grown significantly over the last few years and we're extremely grateful for the year-round support from Ogier volunteers. They have an incredible team that jumps on board and delivers hot, nutritious meals every week to seniors in George Town. And it's not just about delivering a meal. Isolation is a major issue for many seniors in the Cayman Islands and they look forward to the Ogier volunteer coming to visit them. We couldn't do our work without the generous support of volunteers, and we thank Ogier for their time and dedication in supporting Meals on Wheels."

Corinne Cellier, associate director at Ogier Global, has volunteered with Meals on Wheels since she joined the firm nearly three years ago. She commented: "Meals on Wheels and their team are such an important part of our community. I'm delighted to give my time to help with the meal deliveries. I look forward to my slot on the Ogier rota and am always greeted by a super friendly and enthusiastic team who prepare dietary-specific meals for each recipient. Zooming through various addresses, we carefully drop each person's meals to their door and it's always a good feeling completing our route. It's an incredibly rewarding experience, seeing the smiles it brings to faces and knowing that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of our vulnerable seniors."

Ogier's volunteers include: Alexei Bush, Angilynn Baraud, Aaron Roye, Camille Calvary, Candice De Coteau, Celina March, Cindy Downing, Corinne Cellier, Cueme Parker, Dionne Gaye-Heywood, Emma Sutherland, Georgia Scott, Holly Johnston, James Clifford, James Macfee, Jasjit Grewal, Jennifer Fox, Julie Harris, Kaili Kappler, Kara Rankine, Karen Le Cuirot, Kendra Rankin, Laura O'Byrne, Lauren Tims, Mark Santangeli, Melissa Comparin, Melody Williams, Michael Aquino, Raedean Simpson, Tara Campbell, Tiphanie Pettitt and Wray Sulisz.
