Ogier's Cayman team achieves outstanding recognition in the Chambers Global 2025 Guide

Ogier has received excellent rankings across a wide range of its practice areas in the Chambers Global 2025 Guide, demonstrating the outstanding performance and continued growth of its Cayman offering.

An impressive 19 lawyers have achieved individual acknowledgement, and the team has been described as “one of the best  law firms on the island."

The Dispute Resolution team is described as "forward-thinking" and “collaborative,” making it "one of the strongest disputes teams in Cayman.

Rachael Reynolds KC has once again been classed an ‘eminent practitioner’. Client feedback describes Rachael as a "market leader in the contentious trusts space” and the “doyenne of the Cayman legal profession". Marc Kish, described as an “integral part of the insolvency scene in Cayman” who “knows his laws inside out” has also maintained his ranking. 

Jennifer Fox, Gemma Bellfield and Christopher Levers have all been promoted in their individual rankings. Jennifer is portrayed as a “very, very good lawyer,” bringing “gravitas and energy to her cases,” while is it noted that “what Gemma Bellfield does not know about insolvency is not worth knowing.” Meanwhile Christopher is pinpointed as a “prominent figure in the emerging litigation and asset recovery space for digital and crypto.

Farrah Sbaiti has been listed as an ‘associate to watch’ thanks to her knowledge of the Section 238 shareholder appraisal process. “A very capable and very intelligent lawyer” she is recognised as a “real rising star.

The Banking, Finance and Corporate teams are praised for their “considerable experience in M&A" and "great market knowledge”.

Angus Davison is "highly experienced” and “well regarded” in his handling of M&A, equity and debt financing transactions. James Heinicke "is always available and top of what needs to be done.Bradley Kruger has been recognised for his "proactive and client-orientated" manner, while Mark Santangeli is noted for his work with big-name clients. 

Intellectual Property specialist Sophie Peat maintains her ranking and is praised for being a “pleasure to work with” who “always gives great service and advice on trademark matters in the Caribbean.

The Investment Funds team is commended for its "exceptional" knowledge of Cayman legal and regulatory requirements. The team "stands out for its ability to handle complex issues with clarity and professionalism. Their depth of team and seamless internal collaboration provide a level of service that is hard to match."

James Bergstrom, who maintains his top-tier ranking, "is an exceptional lawyer and has built an incredible practice in the Cayman Islands.”

Sophisticated" Giorgio Subiotto is recognised as a “true leader in the field", while Tim Coneprovides outstanding solutions.” “Flexible and knowledgeableNatalie Bell and Emma Sutherland are both identified as ‘up and coming’ within the rankings.

Also recognised are the "reliable” and “popularJustin Savage and the “technically excellentJoanne Huckle.

Joanne has also been recognised for her excellent work in Ogier's Regulatory team alongside Martin Byers.

Ogier's Regulatory team is known for its "highly responsive and deep technical understanding" of the regulatory space. 

Martin is described as a "go-to contact on regulatory matters" and “a breath of fresh air in the industry.”
