Ogier's team in the BVI continues to grow, strengthening their multi-disciplinary offering, with the addition of four new associates.

Odane Lennon joins the Corporate team while Romauld Johnson, Rondelle Keller and Samora Lewis join the Dispute Resolution team.

Both the Dispute Resolution and Corporate teams were recognised in the Chambers Global 2022 rankings as Ogier was named a top tier firm. The Dispute Resolution team was described as "exemplary in their international offering" while the Corporate team was praised for their responsiveness and expert team.

Practice Partner of the BVI office, Ray Wearmouth said: "We're delighted to welcome Odane, Romauld, Rondelle and Samora to the BVI team as we enter an exciting period of growth. They all bring a fresh perspective and we look forward to seeing them develop further as they lend their expertise to a range of cross-sector deals and cases."

Ogier, which was named "the Rolls Royce firm in the BVI" in the latest Legal 500 Caribbean Guide, continues to look ahead and are in the process of expanding their premises at Ritter House to allow for further team expansion in the near future.

Odane Lennon specialises in cross-border transactions involving BVI companies and his experience includes bond issues and securitisation, aircraft and ship finance, real estate finance, lease finance, Islamic finance, debt restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and a range of corporate restructurings. In 2021, Odane was described by Legal 500 as "a Rock Star Associate" who "really goes above and beyond to get the deal through".

Romauld Johnson has worked on contentious matters before all tiers of the justice system. His litigation experience includes matters seeking urgent injunctive relief, procedural applications and judicial review actions involving all sectors of the State, including State companies.

Rondelle Keller is a civil and commercial litigator with experience in high value claims and disputes. He has worked on cross-border litigation at all tiers of the judicial system, and has practical experience in seeking and opposing urgent interim reliefs, enforcement of judgments, orders and dispute resolution agreements.

Samora Lewis specialises in shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice claims and insolvency disputes. She is also a qualified mediator, having trained with ADR ODR International.
