New office for Ogier as firm celebrates ten years in Tokyo

Ogier is marking its tenth year in Japan with a move to expanded office premises.

Ogier was the first offshore firm to establish a presence in Japan in 2008, and the team there has been led by Skip Hashimoto ever since.

The firm has long been advising clients in the Japanese banking & finance, corporate and investment funds market on offshore legal matters, working alongside representatives of corporate service provider Ogier Global Limited.

Ogier Global provides trustee services to Cayman Islands unit trust structures, being the vehicle of choice for Japanese investors.

Led by Fiona Barrie, who has over 27 years of experience in the trust industry and has significant expertise in Japanese investment trusts, Ogier Global's trustee services is one of the most experienced independent trustees in the market.
