ABI names Gemma Bellfield as a Top 40 Under 40 in 2024 list

Congratulations to Ogier's Cayman Dispute Resolution partner Gemma Bellfield, who has been named in the American Bankruptcy Institute's "Top 40 Under 40" for 2024.

The ABI award programme identifies 40 top industry professionals under the age of 40, selected from more than 200 candidates, each with outstanding records of professional achievement and community leadership, by a 22-person steering committee. The top 40 recognises individuals who demonstrate remarkable ability, leadership and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.

The American Bankruptcy Institute is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organisation dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. ABI was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The ABI membership includes nearly 10,000 attorneys, accountants, bankers, judges, professors, lenders, turnaround specialists and other bankruptcy professionals, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. 

The honorees will be recognised at a ceremony on 13 December.
