Funds specialist Matt McManus joins the Ogier partnership in Jersey

Investment funds and regulatory specialist Matt McManus has been promoted to partner in Ogier's top tier funds team in Jersey.

Named a rising star by Legal 500 UK 2024, Matt has more than 15 years' experience in the Jersey funds industry. He advises a range of sponsors and service providers across all aspects of a fund's lifecycle, as well as on co-investment, joint venture and carry structures. He also advises on regulatory and corporate matters and is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Technology and Web3 and Private Equity sector groups. He has a keen interest in ESG matters and in Islamic finance.

Matt joined Ogier in late 2021 and has progressed through the firm's partner development programme. According to client feedback, Matt is "exceptional in all aspects, from client interaction and commerciality, right through to billing. He sees the bigger picture when it comes to clients and looks to develop a long-term relationship rather than a one-off service."
