Chris Hards, Diana Rodriguez, and George Yates have been recognised as rising stars of the private client profession in the 2024 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders list.

The annual list by eprivateclient recognises, introduces, and promotes outstanding professionals and talent based in the Crown Dependencies.

Chris Hards is a managing associate in Ogier's Private Wealth team in Guernsey. He advises on all aspects of trust and foundation law to individuals, fiduciaries and other service providers. Chris also has experience in advising on international pensions and the application of UK taxation to offshore individuals, corporates, and trust structures. Recognised in leading legal directories as an "associate to watch", Chris is described as "a credit not just to the firm but to the profession".

Diana Rodriguez is a senior associate in Ogier's Private Wealth team in Guernsey. She advises on a range of non-contentious and semi-contentious matters, including succession and estate planning, and trusts in commercial and philanthropic contexts. Committed to her clients and the local community, Diana is the team's go-to advisor for charities and helped shape Guernsey's charity legislation. A dedicated member of Ogier's Diversity and Inclusion network, Diana is passionate about removing barriers to entry to the legal profession and creating inclusive work spaces.

George Yates is senior associate in Ogier's Private Wealth team in Jersey with experience advising on a broad range of non-contentious matters, including a wide variety of structures, succession and estate planning, and employee reward schemes. He also has significant experience in dealing with corporate matters within the private wealth context. George advises a variety of professional trustees, family offices, and high net worth individuals, and is the trusted advisor for several significant structures, providing clients with clear and valued advice.

Global head of Private Wealth, Matt Guthrie said: "Congratulations to Chris, Diana, and George. This accolade is well-deserved recognition for their technical acumen, exceptional client service, and dedication to their team and colleagues. We look forward to seeing their continued success with Ogier."
