Martyn Baudains, partner
Martyn advises on all aspects of residential and commercial property including conveyancing, property finance, developments and landlord and tenant. Martyn also acts for private individuals purchasing residential property and over the years has acted for literally thousands of purchasers, including the purchasers of some of the largest local and open market properties in the Island. He has advised a number of high-net-worth individuals who have relocated to Guernsey, on occasion co-ordinating with tax advisers, architects, builders and private banks to provide a seamless service between the professionals.

Jonathan Anderson, counsel
A recognised lawyer in the Channel Islands property industry, Jonathan has worked on many of the most significant commercial property transactions in Jersey and Guernsey, advising leading developers, global banks and investors, corporate occupiers and high net-worth individuals.
He regularly features in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners publications and is noted as both a "Rising star" and an "Associate to watch".
Jonathan's practice covers Commercial and residential developments, corporate occupier leasing (both landlord and tenant side), sales and purchases of commercial property, secured lending in both residential and commercial contexts, construction related aspects of development and lending transactions and offshore relocations for high-net-worth clients to Jersey and Guernsey.
Rachel DeSanges, head of employment, Guernsey
Rachel is Ogier's Head of Employment in Guernsey and works closely with the Jersey team to build on the existing pan island employment presence. She advises on a wide range of employment relocation matters including immigration advice and assistance, population management and employment permits, income tax and social security registrations, data protection and recruitment. Rachel regularly appears before the Guernsey Employment Tribunal, successfully defending employers and representing senior executives in high profile cases in the Island.
Rachel is recognised by clients and colleagues for being extremely knowledgeable, responsive and commercial as well as friendly and approachable. Rachel is ranked in Legal 500 UK 2020 as a 'next generation partner' and is described as having 'excellent working knowledge and understanding of all the relevant areas of employment law and offers well thought out advice in this area'.
