How to handle your relationship with your regulator

Jersey lasting powers of attorney one year on: are they relevant in a trust context?

Lasting powers of attorney (LPAs) were introduced in Jersey by the Capacity and Self-Determination (Jersey) Law 2016 on 1 October 2018. Simon Lofthouse provides an update on the LPA regime and discusses the importance of LPAs and the pitfalls to avoid when creating or acting upon an LPA as a trustee, protector or power holder.
A light breakfast will be served prior to the seminar which will also be an opportunity to network.
