London International Investigations and Asset Recovery Conference (LIIARC) 2024

This year's London International Investigations & Asset Recovery Conference will take place on 18-21 November 2024. 

London International Investigations & Asset Recovery Conference (LIIARC) aims to spotlight London as a leading centre for global investigations and asset recovery, bringing professionals together from diverse organisations in London and beyond.

Jeremy Snead and Anna Snead, who are both members of Ogier's cross-jurisdictional Dispute Resolution team and LIIARC steering committee members, will present the session "From Investigations to Recoveries: Unpicking asset recovery strategies in a multi-jurisdictional fraud" alongside Mayer Brown and Three Verulam Buildings on Wednesday 20 November from 17:30 to 20:30.

During the session, the panellists will provide an overview of the practical and strategic considerations at play at the outset of a fraud case and consider issues that commonly arise in cross-border recoveries. Last year, our intrepid investigators uncovered an investment swindle perpetuated against the citizens of London which led to assets being uncovered in the Cayman Islands. This year, our English and offshore litigators collaborate with Leading Counsel to explore the options available to turn the outcome of those investigations into actual recoveries for investors.
