Ogier is delighted to be one of the sponsors for this year's Insolvency Lawyers Association dinner on Thursday 23 November.

Sarah Worthington DBE KC(Hon), a Professor of Law at the LSE, and previously Downing Professor of the Laws of England, Cambridge, will give the pre-dinner lecture "Spectrum and nuance: an oxymoron?", prompted by Re Avanti Communications Ltd. Professor Worthington specialises in commercial equity, personal property and corporate law, and has spent time as a deputy high court judge in the Chancery Division.

The after dinner speech will be given by Dr. Jabe Wilson, a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence, having studied and worked in the field since 1987. He was named in the DataIQ 100, a list of the most influential people in data-driven business and has an MBA from Warwick Business School awarded in 2009. Dr. Wilson will share his thoughts on the impact of developments in AI on the legal profession, the challenges for lawyers and the opportunities AI brings.
