Ogier's Irish Corporate team has advised Butler Technologies, a leading provider of testing and monitoring solutions, on the sale of its calibration division to Trescal, a global provider of calibration services.
Butler Technologies is an owner managed business that was founded in 1997 with offices in Ireland, the UK and the US. It provides services across its communications, components and hyperscale divisions in 30 countries. This transaction is an important illustration of Ogier's capabilities in advising owner managers in Ireland on the sale of businesses to international trade buyers.
Led by Matthew Van der Want and Oisín McLoughlin, the Ogier corporate team included associate Hugo Mahony, and trainee solicitor Lisa Quigley. Assistance was also provided by Ogier's Irish real estate team through Andrew Nagle, and Ogier's Irish employment team through Bláthnaid Evans and Marianne Norton.
