Ogier provides advice on recommended sale of Renewable Energy Generation Limited

Two Ogier teams provided Jersey law advice on the recommended sale by formerly AIM listed company Renewable Energy Generation Limited (the Company) of the majority of its business to a fund managed by BlackRock and a related party transaction comprising the sale of the remainder of its business to a new company established for the benefit of the Company’s executive directors and members of senior management. The transaction was approved by the Company’s shareholders at the extraordinary general meeting held on 18 December 2015. In connection with the transaction, the Company delisted from AIM, commenced a solvent winding up and appointed Matthew Corbin and Philip Braun of BDO Limited as liquidators on 5 January 2016.
