Ogier London advises Ferrum Resources Limited on corporate finance deal to secure iron ore licenses in Cameroon.

Ogier London acted as BVI legal adviser to Ferrum Resources Limited (“Ferrum”), in relation to Ferrum’s £13.5m acquisition of 6 iron ore exploration licences in the Republic of Cameroon.

The acquisition was funded by Emerging Metals Limited (“EML”), a BVI entity which is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, through a combination of share subscription and bridging finance.

The acquisition of the Cameroon licenses will be completed in due course, with Ogier London continuing to act as BVI counsel.

This is the latest in a significant number of natural resources deals that the Ogier London team have acted on.
