Ogier's Funds team in Jersey has advised Geiger Counter Limited on its listing on Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Geiger Counter Limited invests in the securities of companies involved in the exploration, development and production of energy and related service companies in the energy sector.
Ogier advised on its successful migration to the closed-ended investment funds category of the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange and to trading on the Main Market.
The Ogier team was led by partner Niamh Lalor and managing associate Alexandra O'Grady with support from senior associate Stephanie Edge and associate Hugo Reid. Ogier worked with lead English counsel Stephenson Harwood LLP.
Niamh Lalor said: "Congratulations to Geiger Counter Limited on this successful migration. Ogier has a longstanding relationship with Geiger Counter Limited, advising since its establishment as a Jersey Listed Fund in 2006 - so it is a real pleasure to see the Company achieve this milestone as part of its commitment to appeal to a wider range of investors."
Ian Reeves, director of the Geiger Counter Limited, said: “Ogier has been the company’s legal adviser and sponsor on The International Stock Exchange for many years and we have appreciated their advice and support, including with our recent successful migration to the London Stock Exchange and to the trading on the Main Market. We remain a Company registered in Jersey and look forward to a continuing relationship with them."
