Ogier in Hong Kong advises TMT on business combination with eLong Power Holding Limited

Ogier's Corporate team in Hong Kong has advised TMT Acquisition Corp on its business combination with eLong Power Holding Limited, a provider of high power battery technologies for commercial and specialty alternative energy vehicles and energy storage systems.

TMT Acquisition Corp (TMT) is a Nasdaq-listed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). Both TMT and eLong Power Holding Limited (eLong) are incorporated in the Cayman Islands 

The business combination involved a Cayman Islands statutory merger between TMT and Elong Power In., a wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary of eLong, and closed on 21 November 2024. As a result of the merger, TMT became a wholly owned subsidiary of eLong, which began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ELPW on 22 November 2024.

Ogier's team was led by partner Florence Chan with support from the firm’s global head of Corporate, Nathan Powell, legal manager Anna Cheung and paralegal Jenson Ng.
