Ogier in Guernsey advises Honeywell on $2 billion acquisition of Sundyne

Ogier's Corporate team in Guernsey has advised Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) on the Guernsey aspects of its US$2.16 billion all-cash acquisition of Sundyne from private equity firm Warburg Pincus.

Sundyne is a leader in the design, manufacturing and aftermarket support of highly engineered pumps and gas compressors used in process industries. Honeywell is an integrated operating company serving a broad range of industries and geographies around the world.

The acquisition of Sundyne is expected to close in Q2 2025, subject to customary closing conditions including receipt of certain regulatory approvals.

The Ogier team was led by partner Bryon Rees assisted by counsel James Walsh and associate Tobi Oluborode. The team supported Kirkland & Ellis as deal counsel to Honeywell alongside Baker McKenzie.
