Ogier BVI Advise on the FirstService and Colliers Group Listed Spin Off

Ogier in the BVI has advised NASDAQ and TSE listed FirstService Corporation on the listed spin off of Colliers International Group.

Following closing both entities are now dual listed on NASDAQ and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

FirstService is one of the largest property management outsourcing services in the US and Canada. It generates annual revenues of more US$ 1.1 billion and has more than 15,000 employees in North America. Colliers is a top 3 global leader in commercial real estate services with more than 16,300 professionals operating from 502 offices in 67 countries. The spin off enables both entities to focus on their core businesses.

Ogier’s work on the transaction also included advising in respect of a US$350 million financing, plus accordion feature, made available by a club of banks headed by The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
