Ogier advises on Logicalis acquisition of 2e2 Jersey and Guernsey subsidiaries

Ogier in Jersey and Guernsey advised Logicalis Group Limited (a subsidiary of Datatec Limited) on the Jersey and Guernsey law aspects of its EUR 24,000,000 acquisition of the European subsidiaries of 2e2 Limited (in administration), including the 2e2 Jersey and Guernsey subsidiaries.

The sale of the 2e2 Jersey and Guernsey subsidiaries was made by 2e2 Limited (in administration), a UK IT services company acting by its joint administrators, FTI Consulting. The Jersey and Guernsey businesses acquired are HP and Xerox focused providers of IT and printing managed services and solutions. They are one of the largest IT services businesses in the Channel Islands, and going forward, they will operate under the Logicalis banner.

The Ogier legal team in Jersey comprised of Bruce MacNeil (Jersey) and Christopher Jones (Guernsey). Ogier worked on this transaction together with the leading South African law firm, Bowman Gilfillan, who led the transaction and co-ordinated advice from local counsel on behalf of Logicalis.
