Ogier advises on launch of $300m venture fund targeting AI and fintech start-ups in China

Ogier's Hong Kong team has advised on the launch of the $300 million Cybernaut New Frontier Venture Fund focusing on Chinese start-up companies in AI and fintech.

A team led by partner Kate Hodson and including associate Alan Wong advised New Frontier Capital Management on the Cayman law aspects of the fund launch.

The fund is managed by Cybernaut New Frontier Co., Limited which is jointly managed by leading Chinese VC firm, Cybernaut Investment Group and New Frontier Capital Management (which is partially owned by Mizuho Securities and is the strategic partner of Mizuho Securities' private equity business).

The fund is targeting total commitments of US$300 million and was seeded by Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd.
