Ogier advises Berto Acquisition Corp. on US$300.15 million IPO

Ogier's Corporate team in the Cayman Islands has advised Berto Acquisition Corp. on its upsized US$300.15 million initial public offering on Nasdaq.

A Cayman-incorporated special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), Berto began trading under the ticker symbol TACOU on 30 April. Its initial public offering (IPO) of 30.015 million units was priced at US$10.00 per unit, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option. 
 
This is the sixth public acquisition vehicle IPO led by Berto chairman Harry You. While Berto may pursue an initial business combination opportunity in any industry or sector, it will be examining opportunities in artificial intelligence, wellness, longevity and aesthetics.
