Ogier advises bank on complex business disposal

Ogier in the Cayman Islands advised a major bank on the business sale and transfer of its corporate services business. Part of a significant business disposal undertaken across various jurisdictions, the transaction was particularly complex.

The activities carried out by the business were wide-ranging and required in-depth knowledge in order to effect the transfer.

Ogier provided constant support throughout the process, including on-the-ground assistance and the preparation of a large volume of bespoke documentation to ensure continuity of the underlying deals.

This cross-border matter involved nine jurisdictions and was led by Banking and Finance partner James Heinicke.
